Reading Passage
Cuối tuần rồi. Gia đình của Mai đi công viên Thống Nhất. Ba, mẹ và Mai rất vui vẻ chuẩn bị cho chuyến đi chơi này. Hôm nay trời rất đẹp, nắng vàng rực rỡ và gió nhẹ thổi qua.
It's the weekend. Mai's family goes to Thong Nhat Park. Father, mother, and Mai are very happy preparing for this outing. Today the weather is very beautiful, brilliantly yellow sun and a light breeze blowing.
Trong công viên có nhiều cây xanh cổ thụ to lớn và những luống hoa đủ màu sắc rực rỡ. Không khí ở đây thật trong lành và dễ chịu. Mai chạy nhảy khắp nơi với năng lượng dồi dào. Cô bé thích nhất là chơi xích đu cao và cầu trượt dài. Sau đó, Mai còn vào nhà bóng chơi cùng các bạn nhỏ khác. Ba mẹ ngồi trên ghế đá dưới bóng cây mát mẻ, vừa uống nước dừa tươi vừa đọc sách.
In the park there are many large ancient green trees and vibrant colorful flower beds. The air here is truly fresh and pleasant. Mai runs and jumps everywhere with abundant energy. She likes playing on the high swing and long slide the most. Afterwards, Mai also goes into the ball pit to play with other small friends. Father and mother sit on a stone bench under the cool shade of a tree, drinking fresh coconut water and reading books.
Đến giữa trưa, gia đình mở giỏ đồ ăn đã chuẩn bị sẵn. Họ ăn bánh mì kẹp thịt thơm ngon và thưởng thức nhiều loại trái cây tươi ngon như táo đỏ, chuối vàng và dưa hấu mát lạnh. Mai thích nhất là ăn táo đỏ giòn tan và uống nước cam. Ba mẹ vừa ăn vừa trò chuyện vui vẻ về tuần làm việc. Sau khi ăn xong, họ cùng nhau chụp vài tấm ảnh kỷ niệm để lưu giữ khoảnh khắc đẹp này.
Around noon, the family opens the pre-prepared picnic basket. They eat delicious sandwiches and enjoy many kinds of fresh, tasty fruits like red apples, yellow bananas, and cool watermelon. Mai likes eating crispy red apples and drinking orange juice the most. Father and mother eat and chat happily about the work week. After finishing eating, they take some souvenir photos together to cherish this beautiful moment.
Buổi chiều, công viên càng thêm đông đúc và nhộn nhịp. Nhiều gia đình khác cũng đến đây để thư giãn. Một số người lớn tuổi đi bộ nhanh, một số người trẻ tập thể dục trên bãi cỏ, và trẻ em thì vui vẻ chơi thả diều bay cao trên bầu trời. Gia đình Mai xem một lúc rồi quyết định thu dọn đồ đạc và về nhà. Mai rất mệt nhưng cô bé cảm thấy rất vui và hạnh phúc. Cô bé mong chờ cuối tuần sau để có thể đi công viên nữa và khám phá thêm nhiều điều thú vị.
In the afternoon, the park becomes even more crowded and lively. Many other families also come here to relax. Some elderly people walk fast, some young people exercise on the grass, and children happily play kite flying high in the sky. Mai's family watches for a while then decides to pack up and go home. Mai is very tired but she feels very happy and joyful. She looks forward to next weekend to be able to go to the park again and discover more interesting things.
